New Seascapes - PREVIEW
We have been working hard to develop the right method for presenting and preserving Fred's buoyant, free-form seascapes. We wanted a method that would make the art easy to hang and accessible (not behind glass), yet protect the fragile watercolor.
We chose to mount the art on bevel-cut, archival quality mat board, then affix it to a light basswood panel. Conservation quality materials are used to ensure the work will not yellow over time, and watercolors are sealed with matte or satin fixative to protect against dust and moisture. The final product brings out the color of the paint and the texture of the paper, and will give you a fine work of art you can enjoy for years to come.
